Candle lantern or wrist warmers? Well, that's your choice. Same pattern, used in different ways, what can be better than that? :-)
hook 4 mm
18 g Rusta "Traditional" yarn or similar
glass jar 24,5 cm in diameter and 14,5 cm high
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
- ch 40, sl st to form a ring.
- ch 1, sc 1 in first st, sc till end of row, sl st. (You can skip this row if you make wrist warmers. It makes the edge tighter at the bottom of the jar)
- ch 3, [dc 2, ch 2, dc 3] in same st, *skip 5 sts, [dc 3, ch 2, dc 3] in same st* repeat *-* till end of row, sl st in first ch of 3 (the beginning of row), sl st 3 till the first loop.
- In each loop: dc 3, ch 2, dc 3. When you reach the end, sl st 1 in dc, sl st 3 up to the first loop.
Repeat row 4 a total of 11 times. Cut yarn and weave in ends.
Now it's all up to you: use it for the glass jar/ candle lantern or as a wrist warmer :-)
