EDS awareness - Uppmärksamma EDS

Ok, så här ligger det till. Jag har inte så många betalmönster men de jag har kommer jag att ge bort och jag tänker mig 1-2 mönster varje vecka fram till jul. Allt jag önskar är att lyfta fram och uppmärksamma EDS, dvs Ehlers Danlos Syndrom.

Min son är 17 och  pga hans EDS har han sitt höger ben i gips sen i måndags. Det som hände var att han när han reste sig från sin elrullstol så brast fästet på insidan av knäskålen så knäskålen for iväg och ställde sig rakt ut på utsidan av knät. Ja, det är så lätt att gå sönder när man har EDS. Problemet är att så få vet att EDS existerar, det gäller även läkare och annan vårdpersonal. Det finns inget botemedel. 

Förhoppningsvis räcker det med gips, ortos och sjukgymnastik annars blir det operation framöver. Jag håller tummarna att han slipper det...

Ok, this is the deal. I´m giving away patterns. I don´t have a lot of pay-patterns but the ones I have I´ll give away. I figure 1 or 2 every week until Christmas.
All I wish to do is spread the word and a bit of knowledge of EDS.  
My son is 17 and due to his EDS his right leg is in a cast since Monday. What happened was when he rose from his wheelchair the kneecap just broke loose from it´s original place and ended up "standing" on the outside of his leg. Yes, it´s that easy to break something when you have EDS. The problem is that so few know about EDS, even the doctors and other hospital staff. There´s no cure. 
 
Hopefully the cast and physiotherpy will do the job otherwise there will be a surgery in the near future. Just crossing my fingers that he won´t need that...
